The US Open Summer Series kicks off after Wimbledon, with the Canadian Open being one of the biggest tournaments where top WTA stars will get to showcase their skills ahead of the last Grand Slam of the season.
A WTA 1000 event, the Canadian Open is scheduled to run from Aug 6-12, 2024. A crowd favorite, the tournament will see several of the top-ranked players competing for it’s prestigious title.

Defending champion Jessica Pegula will be looking to make it two consecutive titles in Canada, but she is likely to face a great challenge from the rest of the field.

Swiatek, Gauff, Sabalenka pose a threat to Pegula’s crown.

The top three players in the world are scheduled to compete in Toronto, with Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka eager to add the trophy to their collection.

The in-form Jasmine Paolini will also be competing, alongside American Danielle Collins who has already announced her retirement for the end of the 2024 season.

Hometown favorite Bianca Andreescu is sure to thrill local fans, as the 2019 US Open champion once lifted the Canadian Open trophy the same year she won her first Grand Slam title.
