Coco Gauff Keeps Her Off Season Madness Aside as She Gets Back to Work Ahead of the 2025 Campaign
Dedicated athletes rarely take a break. Just look at Coco Gauff – who remains committed to tennis even during the off-season. Though she is enjoying quality time with friends and family this festive season, Gauff is determined not to leave any stone unturned in her preparation for the upcoming year. The WTA star’s latest social media update has delighted the tennis fraternity, showcasing her true motivation and spirit for the sport she plays passionately.
Gauff is back at training after a well-deserved vacation. The WTA number three ended her remarkable year by winning the 2024 WTA Finals in Riyadh. After winning the title, she returned home to enjoy a sumptuous seafood meal at her grandmother’s house. Gauff also took a relaxing vacation in Los Angeles, where she attended Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival with her boyfriend, Jalen Sera. She is indeed enjoying, but fun time is almost over for the American. The talented WTA star is already back to her intense physical training.
On Gauff’s IG story, she shared a collage of two photos showing her running on a treadmill while wearing a mask. While the WTA number three didn’t specify her type of training, it appeared to be somewhat like cardio. Captioning the post as “first day back,” she delighted her supporters with a glimpse of her dedication and hard work for the port she passionately plays. Even during the off-season, Gauff prioritized maintaining her physicality to prepare for the challenges in the coming season. Having won the 2024 ASB Classic in New Zealand last year, she seems determined to defend her title in the 2025 season highlighting her intense commitment to tennis.
Despite her return to work, Gauff hasn’t lost her enthusiasm for the festivities. She reached a major milestone this year and celebrated it with her cousins and family. Thanksgiving, after all, is about cherishing loved ones! For Coco Gauff, her family is at the heart of her everything. She gave her followers a heartwarming snippet of such precious moments on Instagram, showing what her family means to her.
Earlier this year, the WTA star revealed a wish to move out of her parent’s house and start living independently. In October, she shared her story of achieving a new milestone: buying a house for herself near her parents in Delray Beach Florida. “Life update: bought a house a few months ago,” she updated on her IG profile. Upon sharing this news, Gauff dedicated this to the grace of God and wrote, “Cheers to being a homeowner at 20. All glory to God.” The American player didn’t stop there as she hosted a Thanksgiving party for her cousins. From her sweet potato pie to banana bread, the party had a delicious menu that was enriched by Gauff’s cousins, who contributed with their dishes. “My first time hosting cousins/friendsgiving, Everyone made something. Made sweet potato pie for the first time,” she added. “Lol this is the only pic I have of it,” Gauff wrote sharing images on her IG story.
Coco Gauff might be back at work but she is still vibing with the festivities. Following a crucial dream for the coming season, this American player seems dedicated to defending her title in New Zealand and getting over her weak points for more major titles. Do you think she can make it?
