As loyal fans, let’s give our support and prayers to the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle as she begins the process of taking on her next big business venture.
Meghan Markle is in the process of taking on her next big business venture. The Duchess of Sussex announced American Riviera Orchard back in March 2024, which could be her biggest project yet since she and Prince Harry left the royal family back in 2020.
Although the brand has not officially launched, rumor has it Meghan could be hoping for the endorsement of two very familiar royals who could potentially give it the push it needs to succeed.
Meghan has not remained close with most of the royal family. The duke and duchess made waves back in 2020 when they announced that they would be leaving the royal family, and following their departure, they took part in a series of interviews and even produced a documentary all about their royal experience. Plus, Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” was released in 2023. As a result, tensions only continued to climb within the royal family, and Harry and Meghan have not visited together since 2022.
However, rumor has it Meghan could lean on Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, two royals she has remained close with, to help promote her new brand. Ok! Magazine reports that a source close to the duchess said that “Meghan is looking for support wherever she can get it” and even added that “Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are at the top of her list.” Eugenie has visited Meghan and Harry in California, and it’s possible they could want to help Meghan build up her business.
Meghan is most likely to get those two to support her brand, but the source claims she also wants King Charles’ seal of approval — though it’s hard to believe that part is true.
Meghan has been doing some serious marketing for her new lifestyle brand. She launched the Instagram account back in early spring but has not posted to it since, which actually drums up quite a bit of noise given that people will continue checking back to see if she has shared content. Plus, she had celebrities like Chrissy Teigen and even Nacho Figueras share her jam to their social media.
American Riviera Orchard does not have an official launch date, but the brand is still buzzing. It’s safe to assume that when the products do go live, the website will see plenty of traffic — both from people looking to purchase items as well as people who are just curious what type of products she’ll sell.
