Taylor Swift is borrowing from Blake Lively. The “Fortnight” songstress stepped out at the U.S. Open alongside her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, wearing a diamond and ruby sparkler of Lively’s. Taylor wore Blake’s ruby heart ring at the U.S. Open

When Swift went to the U.S. Open men’s final on Sept. 8, 2024, she accessorized with a Retrouvai Rubellite and Diamond Ring. According to Sarah Chapelle, author of Taylor Swift Style: Fashion Through The Eras, out Oct. 8, 2024, it belongs to Lively (via Instagram).

Previously seen on Swift in her “I Bet You Think About Me” music video, which Lively directed, the ring is “a bespoke commission as part of the brand’s Heirloom collection.” It’s made up of an “8-carat heart shaped rubellite set off with a halo of 2.5-carat diamonds.” The ring is part of Lively’s own “personal collection” of jewelry, designer Kirsty Stone said.

Swift wore Lively’s ring with a red and white gingham off-the-shoulder Reformation dress. She completed the look with a bag and heels by Gucci, black oval sunglasses, and her signature red lip.

So where did the It Ends With Us star wear the ring? To an event at the Empire State Building a week before the “I Bet You Think About Me” music video premiered in November 2021. Talk about an Easter egg!

She wore it as part of an all-red look, complete with a red mini dress, trench coat, and, in true Lively fashion, a variety of stunning jewels.

The Gossip Girl alum even featured a close-up of the ruby heart ring—and her manicure—on Instagram at the time, captioning the post: “My hand modeling career is really taking off.”

Swift wore another ring previously worn by Lively to the Chiefs’ season opener.

Swift didn’t just end the weekend by wearing her close friend’s heart-shaped ring. She also started it in the same way. When the “Fortnight” singer went to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo., on Sept. 5, 2024, to cheer Kelce on in his first game of the season, she did so wearing what appears to be yet another ring from Lively.

The 34-year-old accessorized her denim look with red over-the-knee boots and layered gold and red bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. Retrouvai’s Ruby Impetus Interlocking Puzzle Ring, which Swift wore on her left-hand middle finger, was among her choice of jewelry, per Chapelle.

Fans might remember it from 2021 when Lively paired it with the aforementioned heart ring from the same designer. The one-of-a-kind ring retails for a whopping $29,100 (via Instagram).

Maybe Swift will borrow more from Lively’s jewelry collection during the football season? Only time will tell as Kelce and the Chiefs take on the Bengals on Sept. 15, 2024, at Arrowhead Stadium.
