Kansas City News: Rob Gronkowski Ranks Travis Kelce Higher on All-Time List
Gronk responded by saying he thinks Kelce is better than him.
The former Cincinnati standout is entering his 12th season in the NFL and is still one of the best playmakers at his position. In 159 career games, he’s reeled in 907 receptions for 11,328 receiving yards, and 74 touchdowns.
He’s a nine-time Pro Bowler, four-time First-Team All-Pro, and three-time Super Bowl Champ. The 34-year-old is second in NFL history in receiving yards (1,903) and receiving touchdowns (19) but first in receptions (165). Kelce is still a force to be reckoned with.
Meanwhile, Gronkowski was dominant but had injuries that shortened his career. He initially retired in 2019 before coming back to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021 with Tom Brady. The Arizona product finished his career with 621 receptions, 9,286 receiving yards, 92 touchdowns, and four Super Bowl rings. He retired again in 2022 at age 33.
Those two guys will always be discussed as the top two tight ends in NFL history but Gronk is giving Kelce his props.
