See Jason Kelce’s reaction as wife kindly asks that he try not to say ‘tits’ on national television this week. His reaction is hilarious.
Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce made his ESPN debut on Monday Night Countdown last week, making it a memorable moment thanks to a dress shirt that was a size too small.
“Collectively, we are thrilled to welcome in a six-time first-team All-NFL selection,” Scott Van Pelt introduced Kelce. “Super Bowl champion, future gold jacket wearer, he’s got a podcast that apparently is doing fairly well and all that said, Jason Kelce is wearing a shirt he got at the mall because he left his travel bag in the truck.”
“It fits my belly now, I’ve lost a little bit of weight, but my tits are still struggling,” Kelce joked, giving his shirt a tug in an attempt to make it work.
It’s exactly the kind of moment ESPN wants from Kelce, who can provide valuable football insight as well as a gregarious charm that makes him a captivating presence.
This week, Kelce heads to Philadelphia for his second stint behind the Monday Night Countdown desk as the Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons.
Kylie Kelce posted a photo of their family on Instagram on Saturday to share how it would be a special day while also dispensing some solid advice for his return to national television.
“Training camp looked a little different this year,” Kylie wrote. “Watching you at the Linc on Monday is going to be a little different too. Just know that the girls and I are loving cheering you on in this new chapter! … Maybe try not to say tits this week?”
To be fair, brother Travis and his girlfriend Taylor Swift were big fans of the one-liner.
“Me and Taylor were watching it, absolutely dying laughing at that. It was the perfect thing to open everybody up to what they are going to experience the next 18 weeks,” Kelce said on Wednesday’s episode of New Heights.
Kelce should do just fine in his new role. The more pressing question is, with so many media appearances and commercials are he and Travis about to go from charming to overexposed?
