Simone Biles’ greatness left the best swimmer and tennis Olympians of all-time in shock
Michael Phelps and Serena Williams looked incredibly proud of the gymnast as she won yet another gold.
What more is there to say about Simone Biles? Simply put, she is the best gymnast of all-time. If there was ever a doubt, she put it to bed on Tuesday, breaking the record for most Olympic medals in USA Gymnastics history.
She still has a ways to go to catch Larisa Latynina in terms of Olympic medals, but Biles has a whopping 30 World Championship medals that make her the most decorated gymnast in history. While she made history on Tuesday, she was being watched by two fellow Olympic Games legends who know a lot about that sort of thing.
Michael Phelps and Serena Williams watch Simone Biles win gold in person.
Michael Phelps and Serena Williams were in attendance for Biles’ performance, and they – just like everyone else – were stunned by Biles’ greatness.
Eliciting that kind of reaction, and bringing about these types of celebrities to watch your performances, says everything that needs to be said about Biles’ starpower.
Phelps, of course, is the most decorated Olympian of all-time with 28 in total and an insane 23 golds. Williams, along with her sister Venus, has won a record four gold medals in the Olympics. Venus edges her out on the medal count, as she earned a silver as well.
Team USA’s next event comes on Thursday, in the women’s all-around final.
