Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are out and about in Los Angeles!
The Grammy-winning singer and her NFL superstar boyfriend stepped out for dinner at the Italian spot Madeo Ristorante in West Hollywood on Wednesday, April 24, days after the release of Swift’s record-breaking new album The Tortured Poets Department, a source confirms.
“She’s super sweet,” the insider says. “They were super nice. Very, very nice. She tipped really, really well.”
The source adds that the star’s reservation was not booked under her name, but she still turned heads, as a “bunch of little girls” lined up outside the restaurant upon hearing Swift was there to eat.
“When it’s that level [of fame], you can’t even name-drop or say, ‘It’s gonna be her,’ because it would’ve been mayhem,” the source says.
A photo shared to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, April 25 showed the couple, both 34, dining in a striped booth at the restaurant, with Kelce in a white shirt and Swift wearing a sleeveless black outfit and her hair up.
The outing came days after the release of Swift’s 11th album The Tortured Poets Department, which became the first album in Spotify history to surpass 1 billion streams in a single week.
Kelce is thought to be the inspiration for the new songs “The Alchemy,” which contains a slew of football references, and “So High School,” which includes an apparent nod to him doing impressions of his dad Ed Kelce.
Kelce’s mom Donna Kelce revealed at QVC’s Age of Possibility summit in Las Vegas over the weekend that her NFL star son and Swift had recently enjoyed a vacation with pals Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
Donna said that Kelce realized during their outing that Cooper would also be appearing at the QVC event with Donna — and when Cooper showed up in Vegas with his food truck Danny and Coops Philly Cheesesteak, Donna told him, “Travis told me you were going to be here.”
Donna said that while she wished Kelce could’ve joined them for the event, he was busy in Los Angeles finishing production on Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, a new game show spinoff of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? that’s set to stream on Prime Video.
At the same event, Donna opened up to PEOPLE about Swift, saying that she was not going to be giving the star any sage wisdom.
“She doesn’t need my advice on anything,” Donna said. “In fact, I hope she will give me advice.”
She added that she was a fan of the star’s new album, and “listened to it all morning long when it was released.”
“I was just very impressed. She is a very talented woman, and I think it is probably her best work,” Donna says of the 31-track double album.
